Built in 1912, The Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct is an active train bridge towering 240’ above the creek. It was the longest concrete bridge at the time it opened. It originally carried the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Rail Road but now carries Norfolk Southern trains daily. #trains #history #science #math #engineering #fun #wow #bridge #spring #pennsylvania #big #concrete #explore #learn #travel #drive #daytrip #roadtrip #scranton #tunkhannock
