Happy Hump Day fam! I have some thoughts I would like to share with you all today... Over the last few months, I’ve been on this soul searching mission to unlearn and heal all of the traumas that are hindering me from being the best version of myself. As a queer black man, I had a lot of doubt, fear of acceptance, and neglect connected to my feminine identity as a result of my upbringing. For years I felt like I had to suppress parts of me in order to be loved, accepted and to “fit in”. I was conditioned to think that being “too feminine” was a bad thing and not associating femininity with power, strength or resilience. The more I grow into myself and embrace my feminine energy, the more I’m beginning to realize that I am not meant to fit into a box or a status quo. I am uniquely ME and that defines me more than just how the world perceives me. 💋 Say this mantra with me: I am strong, I am powerful, I am unique and I am divinely made. ✨
