I was never always a “morning person” growing up I definitely was NOT!! I would literally have to drag myself out of bed and nearly missed the bus everyday. Oh the stories my family still jokes about, and me being sooooooo late every morning!!! 😂 But now - I wake up before my alarm, jump out of bed & start my day early before anyone else is even up!! I love the Early am workout and I feel at my best when I get this “Me” time. I am calmer, more relaxed, and just feel less stressed!! I still have my down days and will listen to my body when it says stay in bed & sleep 😴 and I am OK with that and do not punish myself for it!! Are you a morning person too?? 🌞

I know looking at myself in a mirror where I need to focus, I know by how my clothes fit when I have over done it on indulgence. I know when I have to get back on track again. I DO NOT CARE WHAT # A SCALE SAYS MY VALUE IS NOT MEASURED IN POUNDS!!!

I love love love a good salad bowl. Had a hankering for quinoa salad too. Cheated and grabbed this one from the deli at @zehrslistowel • big box of mixed greens will last me all week and some pre-cooked chicken from the other night. The kiddies had chicken burgers and veggies, so they were happy too. Ha ha ha. 🤣🤣🤣

Saturday feels - still moving pretty slow today back is loosening up but still painful. Slept ok so that helps!! More stretching & yoga this am to get my mobility back!! No stopping - just slowing a bit!!

My Mom body - cause even I need a reminder!! Hopefully this resonates with some of you too. . 💪 I might never be super skinny again... I am pretty ok with that. I was too skinny once and I was truly not eating properly!!! . 💪 I might never have a super toned legs without jiggles or dimples on them... That’s fine too. . . 💪 These little boobs, stretch marks and little post baby belly are probably here to stay... oh well! . . 💪 This body has served me well... I have carried & delivered 4 babies, it has toted little ones around on my hips for months & months. I have bumps and bruises, have healed many an strain, sprain & injury & I have the scars to prove a fun childhood and teenage years. I might still struggle with postpartum issues with my hips, which is hindering my progress, but everything is healing in its own time. . . 💪 This is my Mom body and I love ❤️ it, and I will continue to love & take care of it so that it will serve me well for years to come!!
