This is our junior class rep, Nadia Stokes! Nadia is an active member of the FDU community as a RA. She says “What I like the most about nursing is that you get the opportunity to help those in need. I would either like to work with ill children or people with mental illness.”
Calling all nursing students to come out to the Career and Internship Fair tomorrow from 3:30-5:30PM in the Rothman Center! Don’t forget to dress professionally!

SNA Eboard: Freshman Representative, Sahra Rivera. She is a commuter student from Bergenfield NJ. She is really excited to get involved on campus and meet new people. Her favorite part about nursing is the fact that you get to interact with different people and make new connections! ☺️
Next is our sophomore class rep, Kalyssa! She’s an active member of the FDU community as student ambassador and she holds the position of historian for Barkada. Her favorite part of being a nursing student: “I love applying what I learn in class to help my friends and family!”
Moving on to our class representatives! This is Luke, our senior class rep. He received a degree from Bergen Community and transferred to FDU. Luke spent his summer doing an internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His favorite part about nursing is the connections he makes with his patients and families!
This is Destinee, our Events Coordinator. She is a junior nursing student and a commuter who is trying to become more involved on campus. What she says about nursing: “I love nursing because I love interacting with patients and making their day better.”
Now presenting SNA’s treasurer, Mckenna Setterlund! She is a junior nursing student who is also captain of FDU’s Volleyball team. Her favorite part about being a nursing student is the amazing classmates and the patients she gets to work with everyday!
This is Krystle, our secretary! She is an active member of the community as treasurer of IGC and a proud sister of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. Catch her in Dickinson Hall studying in the clinical lab or working as a building manager in the SUB. “I love nursing school because although it is tough, every second where you are improving a sick patients life is worth it.”
Vice President is Amanda Wallace, she is a Junior nursing student, a sOPhistiCated Sister of Omega Phi Chi and also works as a tutor on campus. Her favorite part of nursing is “I love that I get to build that personal connection with my patients, and how even the little things that you can do for a patient go a long way”
Presenting SNA E-board members! President: Rebecca Minn is a junior nursing student. She is a student ambassador on campus and is an international student! Rebecca’s favorite part about being a nursing student/nurse: “I love that its a female dominated field because it unites women.”☺️
